We come together in Spirit to pray . . . 

​Dear friends and family of Unity of Payson,
Prayer is so important for us at Unity. And now is the time for us to come together in prayer, for our nation, for our leaders and for our communities. Without question we pray as we always do...affirmatively. We recognize the seeming great divide in our society, but more importantly, we affirm our oneness.
Join me in prayer, claiming the divine powers of order, wisdom, love, and life as they are recognized and valued as we hold to them firmly. We know that all is well, that nothing can occur which does not have an end in divine benevolence, and that there is nowhere that God is not. We affirm order for our nation, it's capital, all of its governing bodies and all of its communities. We affirm wisdom for those who lead us, and all who speak out in addressing this challenge. We see love displacing fear and hate, and we know that divine life is our heritage as we claim and proclaim it.
So, pray with me, speak truth and show love. Blessings on us all!

Organizations working to help bridge the divide

Braver Angels is a not-for-profit citizens' organization devoted to healing the polarization of America. 
From their mission statement:
  • We try to understand the other side's point of view, even if we don't agree with it.
  • We support principles that bring us together rather than divide us.​
Center for Humane Technology offers an explanation for the divisiveness and social unrest we are seeig in our country, and is actively working to facilitate change.  CHT was formed in 2018 as a not-for-profit organization. The leaders of CHT are featured in The Social Dilemma, a documentary/film currently available on Netflix.  Their website includes additional information and resources.
